WHERE IT ALL BEGAN...

21 years ago, precisely on September 7, 2001, Brazil's Independence Day, eight motorcyclists from the extreme East of São Paulo got together to found the Motoclub Dorme Suju's. With the spirit of their descendants and revolutionary relatives from São Paulo in the 1930s, they edited a Code of Ethics and Conduct with military and revolutionary ties that lasts until the present day. This inspiration is a tribute to the fighters of the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932, where a platoon of armed motorcyclists monitored enemy troops in São Paulo, during the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932. a new Constitution in 1934. In the 1930s, many members of the Public Force, civilians and combatants died with the ideal of a more just Constitution for the Brazilian people. With this patriotic, nationalist and revolutionary spirit, the Motoclub Dorme Suju's was founded as a tribute to the heroes

about the name

Sleep Suju's

The name Dorme Suju´s, has its representative and symbolic origin in honor of the fighters of the Constitutionalist Revolution of 1932 who, on October 2nd of the same year, already tired, with little food and lack of ammunition, even with the signature of the armistice in the city of Cruzeiro, that day these Paulista Heroes were fighting against the dictatorial troops of Getúlio Vargas in the Mantiqueira Tunnel. This epic feat of the constitutionalist revolutionaries in the Mantiqueira tunnel takes us back to the past, compared to the spirit of the Greco-Roman warriors, allied to the spirit of victory and resilience of the Paulistas, who achieved success in their revolutionary objectives.

In honor of this feat
gave the name "Sleep Suju´s"

whose meaning of the two words together are:

- The first derives from the Latin "dormieri"

which means sleep or rest;

- The second comes from a Greco-Roman expression
"suju´s" which means height or depth.
So the name Dorme Suju's means rest
deep, deep and elevated sleep, that is, it is the situation of a warrior who is in another dimension resting deeply, after having fulfilled his mission in the revolution.

This is why there is a skull with a revolutionary helmet in the center of the Coat of Arms that pays homage to those heroes of the 1930s who fell in the struggle for freedom consolidated with the advent of the 1934 Constitution.

Meaning of

coat of arms

The skull with the helmet and with the face facing the right side in white, means the simple, pure and profound death to those motorcyclists who passed to another life or dimension and has the scope to honor and honor them.

The two bones on top of the skull
displayed on our coats of arms indicate at their ends the four cardinal points (north,
south, east and west) with a request for Divine protection not only for those who travel on the roads, but also for motorcyclists who have fallen on the roads in the past.
